On September 4th of the current year, the rector of the Kazakhstan-Russia Medical University, Nurlan Temirbekovich Jainakbaev, visited the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Institute of Medical Education of the Almazov Center” in St. Petersburg, where he conducted a series of lectures for fifth-year students on the subject of “Emergency Medicine” (medical catastrophes). He emphasized the importance of timely response and coordinated teamwork among doctors, representatives of specialized services, transportation, and government agencies. Nurlan Temirbekovich also discussed the implementation of targeted projects in the field of mobile and military medicine in Kazakhstan. He also introduced a range of mobile diagnostic and therapeutic complexes that were utilized during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of the academic exchange of experiences, the lecturer on “Illustrative Anatomy,” Vladislav Saitov, delivered a lecture on artistic anatomy, followed by an engaging master class in which third-year students participated. The latest educational methodologies were discussed during this session. This innovative introduction of the discipline of “Illustrative Anatomy” enables students to apply their artistic skills not only for mastering the study material but also for its deeper retention and practical application.
