FOR ADMISSION OF FOREIGN STUDENTS TO NEI «Kazakh-Russian Medical University»

• General provisions
  • NEI «Kazakh-Russian Medical University» (hereinafter University) admits persons with general secondary (general secondary), technical and vocational (primary and secondary vocational, post-secondary) and higher (higher vocational) education.
  • Applicants are admitted to the university on the basis of a competitive examination on the basis of an interview in biology and a determination of their English language proficiency. If you have an IELTS 5.0 or TOEF 64/CBT 180 certificate, the applicant is exempted from the interview to determine English proficiency.
  • Admission of foreign nationals to higher education on a fee-paying basis is based on interviews conducted by admissions Commissions of higher educational establishments during the calendar year.
  • The reception of foreign citizens from India is carried out in accordance with the agreement on joint activity with Limited liability partnership «International Medical University» (next LLP) with the conclusion of a tripartite agreement between the University, LLP and the foreign citizen.
  • Foreign nationals are taught at the university in English. Persons wishing to study in Russian or Kazakh were interviewed to determine their level of proficiency in those languages; foreign nationals who did not speak Russian or Kazakh could apply to the preparatory department of the University on a fee-paying basis.

• Procedure for accepting applications and documents.
  
  • A mandatory requirement is the presence of a Grand Total score of at least 70%, including a majoring subject not lower than “B” (not lower than 75%), as well as a NEET certificate.

  • For admission, the applicant fills out an application of the established form and a questionnaire (Appendix 1 and 2).
• Competitive selection.
  • The admission of foreign applicants to the paid department at the University is carried out on a competitive basis in specialties, language departments and in accordance with the requirements specified in Appendix 4 to these Rules.
  • In the case of the same interview results, preference is given to applicants with a higher average Grand Total score of a certificate or diploma, higher NEET scores, IELTS or TOEFL certificates.
  • The selection committee can check the accuracy of the data submitted by the applicant for participation in the competitive selection. The provision by the applicant of inaccurate information is the basis for refusal to participate in the competitive selection and enrollment for training (cancellation of the enrollment order).
  • The admissions committee of the university notifies the applicants about the results of the competition.
  • Foreign citizens who are not recommended for admission can enter the university through the preparatory department on a paid basis.
• University enrollment.
  • Foreign nationals are enrolled in accordance with the academic calendar five (five) days before the beginning of the next academic period. The enrolment order shall be issued upon receipt in the University’s settlement account of the advance payment in accordance with paragraphs 5 and 6.
  • The dean’s office of foreign students, upon admission to the account of the University of advance payment, sends letters of invitation to applicants to foreign citizens to apply for a study visa. Visa processing is carried out by the department to work with foreign students – at the expense of applicants.
  • In the absence of prepayment within the specified period, the applicant does not receive an invitation letter and is not subject to enrollment in the number of students.
  • In case of violation of the terms of payment, the Agreement may be terminated by the decision of the University.
