Department of phthisiology with the cource
The department of physiiatry with courses of infectious diseases and dermatovenereology currently consists of 3 courses: phthisiology, dermatovenerology and infectious diseases. For the first time, these specialties began to be taught at KRMU in 1999, i.e. since the university was founded, when the Department of Phthisiology was organized under the guidance of Professor K.M. Maskeev, as well as courses of dermatovenereology and infectious diseases. In 2017 A joint department of infectology was created, later renamed the Department of Phthisiology with courses of infectious diseases and dermatovenereology. The first organizers and leaders of the courses were: Phthisiology – Professor Maskeev K.M., Dermatovenereology – Associate Professor I. Gerasimenko; Infectious Diseases – Professor Karabekov A.Zh. Currently, the head of the department is the doctor of medical sciences, professor Belova Elena Sergeevna, who heads the course of phthisiology. The head of the course of dermatology is the candidate of medical sciences A. ALL DEPARTMENT COURSES ARE LOCATED ON THE BEST CLINICAL BASES OF THE CITY:
a course of phthisiology – on the basis of the National Scientific Center of Phthisiopulmonology of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Bekkhokhina St., 5), a course of dermatovenerology – on the basis of the Scientific Research Dermatovenerologic Institute (60 Raimbek St.), a course of infectious diseases – on the basis of the city infectious diseases hospital (Bayzakova, 296).
The courses of phthisiology and dermatovenerology have 3 and 2 study rooms respectively, are equipped with computer equipment, negatoscopes to demonstrate radiographs of tuberculosis patients to students.
Thanks to the placement of courses on the basis of large medical and scientific institutions of the city, students in the learning process have the opportunity to get acquainted with modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis, dermatological and sexually transmitted diseases and infectious diseases. So. On the basis of the NNCF, students are shown to use in addition to traditional bacteriological methods in practice, the detection of tuberculosis mycobacteria by molecular genetic methods (GXpert, Hine test), as well as the use of CT-techniques for visual diagnostics. The course of dermatovenerology works in close collaboration with the Research Institute of Skin and Venereology, where students are shown the modern methodology of dermatoscopy. Leading specialists in infectious diseases work in the city infectious diseases hospital and use all the modern achievements of infectology in practice.
AT THE COURSE OF PHTHIATRY IN DIFFERENT YEARS WORKED:
Honored Worker of Science of the Kazakh SSR, academician and vice-president of the Academy of Natural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor Maskeev K.M .; Academician of the National Academy of Sciences and the Russian Federation Professor Muminov T.A., who at one time headed the State Medical Institute named after S.D. Asfendiyarova.
Professor Maskeev K.M. in 1986 He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, in 1985. – a large bronze medal named after S.P. Botkin. In 1981 awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR., in 1991 – Certificate of honor of the Ministry of Health of the USSR., In 1997. – Certificate of Merit of the Ministry of Health of the Kazakh SSR, in 2006. – Certificate of Appreciation of N. Nazarbayev.
From 2008 to 2013, the course of phthisiology was headed by Professor Hauadamova G.T. For the period of her professional activity, she was awarded with the badge “Excellent worker of healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, the badge “Densaulyk saқtau іsіne қoskan үlesi үshіn” and “Altyn Düriger”, the Terlikbaev medal.
Employees of the courses actively participate in international conferences, where they give oral and poster presentations, publish their work in the form of abstracts. Monographs are actively published. So, Professor Maskeev K.M. has 3 published monographs, professor Muminov T.A. – 5, Professor Hauadamova G.T. – 3.
All professors of the course of phthisiology are actively engaged in the preparation of students: Professor K.M. Maskeev prepared 14 candidates of sciences and 2 doctors of medical sciences; Professor T.A. Muminov – 6 candidates of sciences and 3 doctors of sciences; Professor G.T.Khauadamova – 4 candidates of medical sciences and one doctor of sciences; Professor E.S. Belova – 4 candidates of sciences and one doctor of medical sciences were prepared.
Every year, TB specialists are actively participating in the preparation and conduct of the month of World Tuberculosis Day on March 24th, along with senior students. During this period, students of 5-6 courses prepare and give lectures on the prevention of tuberculosis in junior courses of the university. This year it is planned to extend this activity to the schools of the city together with the city center of healthy lifestyle.
Together with the supervised groups, the department’s staff repeatedly traveled to Chimbulak, visited theaters of Almaty, celebrated Nauryz. On curatorial hours, issues of professional ethics, legal literacy, and a patriotic attitude to his native country are dealt with.
